• Learning from Challenges: Learn how overcoming obstacles cultivates a resilient mindset and a deeper understanding of the industry.
• The «School of Hard Knocks»: Explore the value of practical experience and overcoming setbacks to build perseverance.
• Building with Grit: Understand how embracing challenges and hard work can lead to a more fulfilling and successful construction career.

Join us as we delve into the world of building resilience and explore why a «get your hands dirty» mentality combined with the ability to learn from mistakes can be the key to thriving in the construction industry.

Elon sometimes sleeps on his parents money. We have no excuses for not being born to South African racists.

Total bullshit. In a work place you need multitude of minds. Some workers, some men some women some thinkers etc etc

Yes you want the worker because the thinker will see how much of a idiot you are and hiw he can do your job better

The worker will just argee with what you say.

And how is getting punch in the face life changing….. If so i must be amazing did boxing for 10 years i been hit alot ……your talking $hit

I’ll agree with everything except “every day”. The percentage of times that taking the worker over the thinker is beneficial is extremely dependent upon what you need them to do.

There are some circumstances where hiring the high aptitude smart person who doesn’t like to physically work too hard is beneficial over hiring the person that will do anything without question as long as it doesn’t take much thought.

I’ve worked with both many times. They’re both extremes in my opinion. You’re usually going to have to micromanage the smart one to make sure that shit is getting done. You’re going to have to help the hardworking simpleton on a lot of things, but you can trust them with simple tasks.

Most of the time I’ll take a hardworking dumbass over a semi-lazy intellectual. Sometimes however you need someone to just be able to figure it out on their own more than you need someone who can get it done as long as it’s simple. I’d prefer someone in the middle of the two who leans more towards hard working.

Quoting Elon about being in a fight is so funny — that dudes never been punched

This is pretty ironic coming from a real estate agent. Has to be the most parasitic and worthless job ever

  8. @PaddyHerrlinger

You need a mix of both.

What a crock…. I can smell the feces on this guys breath through my screen. You want thinking workers unless you're a conman…. Con men plan on extorting the workers so they don't want them to think.

Pillock, it's not a binary proposition

Assumes it’s a binary choice and not a continuum. It’s not.

I had a black eye once as a teenager… it really sucked, but that never happened again 😊

I was in MMA. I ended up being a worker until I said I don't like getting screwed anymore. Then I thought, and made my own business. Yep, that's why he doesn't want thinkers: less competition. This guy probably doesn't think. Otherwise, he would have said something else 😂
